• A local church in the Tamina area has asked for Cavalry help with repairs to their church building. From what I understand at this time, the church has about 6 men who are helping repair a couple bathrooms and classrooms. They could use some help.
    1. Church of God in Christ has 5or6 projects, needing help from framers, construction, electricians, drywall MT&F, painters and more. Look for a few weeks of projects coming up soon.
    2. The dates have been set for two consecutive Saturdays. October 25 and November 1
    3. Big thanks to Christian Walsh for stepping up to Grill for the Cavalry on November 1. We still need someone to grill on October 25. Can you?
  • Completed the seventh activity since the beginning of May 2014. I'm so grateful to be part of this. I can't wait to see what the Lord brings to us next.
    1. Helped someone out in Oak Ridge North on Thurs July3rd. They had lost their job, and had to get out of their apt to move in with family out of state. The Cavalry spent the morning help load a moving truck with boxes, furniture and a stove from a second story apt.
      1. Guys, discussions are going around about the Cavalry doing a lunch for the congregation after service on the 5th sunday of the month. (2 weeks out). What do you guys think? Are you all up for making this happen? Part of the need is to raise funds to bring in some money to help others when there need is greater than our ability and also to pay for our own BBQs. Please post up your thoughts.
        1. Would really like to do this, if we can find a way to cook up some meat cheaply enough to make a profit!
      2. Some Pics from June 14th. THANKS again guys for coming out and helping with set construction for Vacation Bible Study and yard trimming needs for a special senior in the area. Truly you guys are a blessing to the area.
        1. has joined the group.
